PHILOSOPHY 06

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Craftsmanship is the foundation of our watchmaking process. Every detail, from hand-finishing to intricate assembly, is done with skill and dedication. For example, our NATO straps are crafted with over 200 years of expertise and traditional looms from the 1800s.

BRITISH WATCHMAKING PROVENANCE

Great Britain played a pioneering role in the history of watchmaking, leading innovations in precision timekeeping during the 17th and 18th centuries, with figures like John Harrison revolutionising marine chronometers and contributing to advancements that shaped modern horology.

This watchmaking culture was inherited from the practical necessity to reliably know what time it is and to understand your location when out in the wilds of the world. The culture became part of the national spirit through a sense of adventure and curiosity - to climb, to trek and to sail to the far corners of the unexplored parts of the Earth.
