Lamin Deen joined the Grenadier Guards in 1998 at the age of 16 where he quickly took to the way of life with his eyes firmly set on climbing the ranks. Having travelled to different parts of the world and participating in ceremonial roles, Lamin transitioned into fulltime professional sport in 2007. He has participated in the 2014 and 2018 winter Olympic games, winning medals in the world cup, the world championships and setting British and other speed records.

Enjoy canapés and a glass of Gusbourne sparkling wine at Bremont Manchester Boutique, where Lamin will be giving a talk on his experiences as a professional athlete.
