HOW DO I CHANGE THE DATE ON MY WATCH?
We strongly recommend that you do not attempt to change the date on you watch between the hours of 20.00 and 03.00. If your watch has a screw-down crown (Jaguar MKI, Supermarine, Airco, SOLO-32 & Boeing models) you will need to unscrew it in an anticlockwise direction until you hear a small click and gently pull it out (position II) you are now in the date change position. If your watch has a pull-out crown (ALT1, MB, U-2, Jaguar MKII & MKIII, SOLO models) pull it out (position II). Change the date by rotating it in a clockwise direction. (NB the original ALT1 and SOLO models had screw down crowns, this has since changed.)

WHAT IS THE DATE RULE?
For the date function to work effectively, we recommend that you do not change the date between the hours of 20.00 and 03.00 hours otherwise the teeth on the date wheel, which may have started to engage in preparation for changing the date, can become damaged as they will be forced forward.
