“THE BREMONT HORSEMEN” WWII P-51 MUSTANG AEROBATIC TEAM
Bremont are delighted to announce the arrival of ‘The Bremont Horsemen’ WWII display team
Bremont are delighted to announce the arrival of ‘The Bremont Horsemen’ WWII display team. The Horsemen took off over a decade ago as the world’s only P-51 Mustang formation aerobatic team. Since that time, the team has grown into flying other platforms in formation, including F8F Bearcats, F4U Corsairs, and F-86 Sabres, the P-38 Lightning and most recently, Spitfires.
The team commences its display season this year at Duxford, UK in May in superb style with the Bremont Horsemen’s first-ever display in tribute to the American pilots who flew with the ‘Eagle’ Squadrons during WWII. The team will be flying a historic four-ship across the UK and the US, comprising a Hawker Hurricane, Supermarine Spitfire, Curtiss P-47 Thunderbolt and North American P-51 Mustang. The pilots for the team are Americans Dan Friedkin, Ed Shipley and Steve Hinton with the Brit, Paul Bonhomme (from Red Bull air-racing fame) joining them for this event.
